hobbies: irc (duh), working on my lame-ass webpage (or as Chorkfice calls it "wibpige"), DJing on Ytseradio (see below), playing bass, singing (well, and badly at times), playing Starcraft and Diablo, LaserQuest, and other miscellaneous crap I can't remember right now.

I'm assuming you all want to know how I got into DT. Well, screw you, I'm not telling. Just kidding. :) I heard Pull Me Under (both the radio edited version and the full version) on a station from nearby Grand Rapids, WKLQ. I got Images And Words shortly thereafter, listened to it for a while, and let it sit on the shelf. I guess at 12, my mind wasn't able to grasp it. Anyway, fast forward to 1994, Awake is released within weeks of Megadeth's Youthanasia album. I see it at the record store and say, "oh, wow, new Dream Theater, I'll get it later." WKLQ puts Lie into heavy rotation, and I get more and more interested in DT. Then, one of my friends buy Awake, I was hearing this album constantly, and ended up giving IAW another chance. I was finally ready for this "progressive metal" stuff.

Oh yeah, I guess I should mention Ytseradio . DblAgnt (Matt Masi) and myself, with the help of Dr. Mosh and Coleridge, created a 24 hour/7 day a week (ok, not just yet, we're working on it) RealAudio station programmed well...by nobody except for the DJs who are on at the time. :) Ytseradio, check it out: http://www.tc.umn.edu/~hayd0029/ytseradio/
